Protocol on cooperation between the Balkan Institute of SASA and the Military Archives signed



On September 23, 2021, in the premises of the Balkan Institute of Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (SASA), the Protocol on Cooperation between the Balkan Institute of SASA and the Military Archive of the Institute for Strategic Research of the University of Defense was officially signed.



The protocol was signed by the director of the Balkan Institute of SASA, Dr. Vojislav Pavlović, and the director of the Military Archive, Lieutenant Colonel Petar Ivanović, on behalf of the Ministry of Defense. The protocol defines research and archival cooperation in studying the history and suffering of Serbs in the Independent State of Croatia (NDH) and the history of the Vatican's relations with the NDH: collecting, researching, processing, translating, analyzing and comparing historical sources, writing scientific and professional papers and publishing collections of history and suffering of Serbs in the NDH and the Vatican's relations with the NDH, participation in international and domestic scientific conferences and preparation of exhibitions, in order to contribute to preserving the national identity and integrity of the Serbian people by presenting reliable historiographical facts based on relevant archives about the suffering of Serbs in the NDH.
