Yugoslav People’s Army and Territorial Defense of Social Federal Republic of Yugoslavia 1945-

A special group of the archival materials in the Military Archives consists of the documents on the development of the Armed Forces of the Social Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (the Democratic Federal Yugoslavia, the Federal People’s Republic of Yugoslavia) after 1945. These archival materials encompass the military provenance documents, which were made within the YPA units and institutions, territorial defense HQs and units, or within the Armed Forces of the Social Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. This group of funds is still open for receiving the materials after the disintegration of the Social Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and the Yugoslav People’s Army and reorganization of the Army into the Yugoslav Army (YA), the Serbian and Montenegrin Armed Forces (SMAF) and finally, after the independence of the Republic of Serbia, into the Serbian Armed Forces (SAF). This archival material is systematized by its creators. Overview of the archival materials arranged in groups, within the fund groups: NAME OF THE GROUP OF ARCHIVAL FUNDS ARCHIVAL FUNDS
